Steve Michelotti

Steve Michelotti, MSCD, MCPD, MCT is the Chief Technologist at e.magination in Baltimore. He consults at Advertising.com/AOL where he was the Tech Lead for one of the highest volume .NET applications in the world. He is a frequent presenter at developer user groups and Code Camps in the Maryland area. His published articles include Visual Studio Magazine and on his blog.

John Baird

John Baird began his computer programming career while in the US Navy. In 1982, he helped form and direct the first PC-based computer processing department for training and manpower in the Department of Defense. After leaving the military in 1988, John began a varied career as a consultant developing business applications ranging from computer-based training to vertical market software for resellers.
Today, John is working for the industry leader in financial software for fund administration. John was recently awarded MVP status for device application development.

Eric Pascarello

Eric Pascarello is the author of Ajax In Action and JavaScript: Your visual blueprint for building dynamic web pages (2nd ed.) Eric has been speaking about Ajax, JavaScript, and security around the world and has presented for CMAP multiple times. He has been developing Ajax applications, has a passion for finding those JavaScript browser quirks/meomory leaks, and loves finding XSS holes in websites.

Gary Blatt

Gary has been in the IT industry for over 25 years, working with a variety of platforms and technologies. For the last 12 years he has focused exclusively on the Microsoft suite of tools, executing both small and large scale projects equally. As a senior resource, he has taken mentoring past the normal level to full blown training for over 10 years. His hands on, real world approach to knowledge transfer has been used to great effectiveness in many organizations across the country. His extensive experience with SharePoint includes architecting, developing and implementing deployments for up to 60,000 users worldwide in one client scenario. Part of that experience is also in providing the proper level of training to end-users, administrators, content managers, developers and C-level executives. He is so focused on the SharePoint product, his Virginia license plate reads SHRPNT.

Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones is a Senior .NET Consultant at Thycotic Software Ltd in Washington, DC. He is also an ASP.NET MVP.

Osama A. Morad

Osama A. Morad has over 20 years of computer and programming experience. He programmed extensively in C, UNIX, and Java and has been teaching and developed applications in .NET and C# since 2001. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Master of Art Degree in Instructional Systems Development from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Osama is the President & CEO of Morad Learning, Inc.

Edwin Ames

Edwin Ames has been developing software for 10+ years. He has written solutions for many industries including Corporate Relocation and Insurance, and is an occasional speaker at DotNet events. He is currently a Senior Developer with GCom2 Solutions where he uses C# along with a healthy helping of NUnit to solve business problems. Brian Mains

Brian Mains is currently developing applications for Computer Aid Inc. in Harrisburg. He's been a Microsoft MVP since July 2007 and has written articles for aspalliance.com, aspnetpro.com, dotnetjohn.com, and dotnetslackers.com, and has a blog on dotnetslackers.com and msmvps.com

Greg Galipeau

Greg Galipeau is currently a Project Manager at RDA Corporation (don't worry – PMs at RDA do a lot of architectural work to). In addition Greg is also the IW/Collaboration Evangelist Team Leader at RDA. The IW/Collaboration Evangelist Team at RDA is dedicated to the growth and knowledge of SharePoint and other collaboration tools within Microsoft. Greg has been working with SharePoint since 2001 and has been involved in numerous custom application efforts centered around SharePoint during his employment at RDA. Michael Pastore

After doing graphics development on SGI’s, Michael Pastore became assimilated with .Net since the framework’s beta. He spends much of his time working with smart clients and asynchronous programming and has had gigs doing web and database development.

John Brown

John Brown is an Architect and Project manager for Tritium Consulting. He has been providing .NET solutions to federal and government agencies for the last 8 years and has been working in the software industry for over 15 years in various .NET and non-.NET technologies.

Geoff Snowman

Geoff Snowman is a managing consultant with Excella Consulting, where he focuses on .NET development and SharePoint. Prior to joining Excella, Geoff spent seven years with Microsoft Corporation in a variety of roles, including senior consultant, developer evangelist, and BizTalk Server technology specialist.

Pete Brown

Habeeb Rushdan

Habeeb Rushdan is a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Trainer with over 10 years of professional software development experience. He holds a B.S in C.S from the University of Maryland and is certified as a: Microsoft Certified Trainer, MCAD, MCPD, MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5 ASP.NET Apps, Certified Flash MX Developer, Adobe Certified Expert - Flash CS3, and an Adobe Certified Instructor. Habeeb has worked for several software product and technology consulting firms, and he now offers his expert software development and coaching talents to various organizations across the US through LowerHead Consulting, LLC, where he is a Managing Partner and co-founder. Teaching and leading software engineering teams are passions of Habeeb. From small startups with less than 10 employees, to multi-national organizations with over 10,000 employees, Habeeb and his clients and peers find joy in his work. Dave Kehring

Dave Kehring is an independent software architect and developer with 20 years of industry experience. Since 1999, Dave’s firm White Horse Consulting has developed enterprise solutions for various industries including Lubricants, Finance, Semi-Conductor Manufacturing and Business Simulation. Prior to striking out on his own, Dave developed and supported critical business systems for Castrol Lubricants. While based in the United Kingdom, Dave was also responsible for the marketing and implementation of these systems for Castrol business units worldwide. Currently Dave is helping to architect and develop large scale WPF applications for the medical industry.

Christopher Davis

A graduate of Stony Brook University, Christopher Davis is currently the Chief Software Architect and Director of Educational Services at Catalyst IT Services in Baltimore MD. Throughout his career Chris has designed and built systems in several industries including Cruise Booking Engines, Merchant Processing Solutions, Tax Processing Software, and a myriad of web based applications for all kinds of uses. Dmitriy Shvadskiy

Dmitriy Shvadskiy is an independent software developer with 15 years of experience in developing application on Windows. He previously worked at AOL, Thomson Financial, Citrix Systems, and several start-up companies.

David Rico

Dr. David F. Rico has been a technical leader in support of NASA, DARPA, DISA, SPAWAR, USAF, AFMC, NAVAIR, CECOM, and MICOM for 20+ years (and he has been in the field of information technology since 1983). He's been an international keynote speaker, published numerous articles, and contributed to five books on information technology. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, a master's degree in software engineering, and a doctoral degree in information technology. Dr. Rico is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and teaches at two major universities.

Frank La Vigne

Frank La Vigne is a Microsoft Tablet PC MVP and Lead Architect/Designer for Applied Information Sciences (AIS) in Northern Virginia. Frank started in software development when he was twelve, writing BASIC programs for the Commodore 64. He began his professional career writing Visual Basic 3 applications for Wall Street firms in 1993. He then moved on to be the first webmaster for a major book retailer. Frank then went on to develop a large multinational online banking project in Germany. In 2004, Frank became heavily focused on Tablet PC application development.

Frank is also active in the developer community, speaking at user groups and code camps along the East Coast.

Steve Andrews

Steve Andrews is a Team System MVP, and has been working as a developer for more than 9 years. During this time, he has designed and developed applications in such widely varying areas as trust accounting, medical information management, supply chain management, and retail systems.
